How will I know when to work?

Our district uses the SubFinder calling system.  The employee contacts SubFinder when they need a substitute. The SubFinder system contacts substitutes through a computerized voice telephone system.

If you are hired as a substitute, you will receive information on how to work with the system. The system can be customized to show your preferences as to work site, grade levels, dates you will work, etc.

How will I get on base?

If you are hired as a substitute, your name will be provided to Travis Air Force Base. You will go to the base long-term pass office, along with your valid Driver’s License or approved ID card, your vehicle registration, and insurance. They will provide you with a pass that will allow you entrance to the base for employment purposes.
